The primary link between each K-grams Chapter and
the national organization is their Regional Liaison. Each Liaison
serves as both an envoy of information and services as well as
a representative of the needs of that specific K-grams partnership.
What does a Regional Liaison do?
As a veteran of K-grams, Liaisons are charged with the task of
developing Starter
Schools and then sustaining them as Official Chapters. They
are information conduits as well as good sounding boards and can
help students create a successful K-grams at their college. Along
with the help of the National
Staff, Heads serve as the link between everything that is
going on in your town to all of the K-grams world!
Who can be a Regional Liaison?
Liaisons include current and past student participants, trained
national staff, invested alumni or elementary/college staff members,
and others. Basically you must be committed to K-grams!
Once your institution is approved for a Starter School, you will
be immediately assigned a Liaison in your region* to help with
your planning. We are also accepting applications for volunteer
Regional Liaisons by our National Staff, so if you are interested,
please contact
us!
* specific K-grams regions are still being developed as we
expand through the nation.
