The key to creating a true relationship with Kids
Programs is developing a secure community between the college
and elementary school(s). This community is sought out by college
students once they are ready to officially develop a Starter
School.
How do non-students get involved?
If you are an individual or represent a school or organization
interested in becoming a part of our network, this is the place
to sign-up. Affiliates are placed in a queue, and we will hold
your information in our database until the appropriate time when
we might build a Starter School in your area. If you are seriously
interested in developing other support in your area, you will
greatly increase your chance to build a K-grams in your community!
Does signing up here mean I will start a new K-grams?
Signing up for the Local Network simply implies that you have
an INTEREST in helping start or work with a K-grams in some fashion.
This may mean you want to start an actual Chapter, or simply serve
as a resource for an existing K-grams.
Your willingness to become a part of our network increases the
chances that K-grams will land in your area. However, it is also
very important to note that being on our network list does not
guarantee that your community will be either selected to participate
or that you will personally be involved. While of course we hope
to include everyone that we can, many factors influence these
decisions.
Note: the Local Network has been suspended as we develop quality controls in our expansion process.
